Spectre were called in to advise on the best route to take to improve a Birmingham Schools legacy CCTV system to improve image quality and storage and add additional HD cameras, to keep within budgets and to provide best value, a hybrid system was chosen.
After a CCTV site survey - New full HD cameras were installed in key strategic areas, existing cameras that were still useful were kept and added on to the new system, this kept the upgrade costs down, as future budgets allow the older cameras can be replaced with new HD units.
Picture quality and ease of use of the new system are of great benefit to the School and the new HD larger LED monitors and ECO HD recorders are saving energy too.
